ABS is a product of copolymerization of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene, i.e. a modification of high-impact polystyrene. ABS plastic sheets are laminated by single- or multilayer extrusion of the highest strength.

Polypropylene sheet is obtained by extrusion of polypropylene. It shows practically no hygroscopic properties, has perfect chemical resistance to most aggressive environments. It is used in concentrated and weak organic and inorganic acids. Ideal non-conductor.

Polystyrene – plastic, in outward appearance identical to transparent Perspex. The most popular are colourless and tinted sheets.

LPPE is a kind of polymers belonging to the class of polyolefins. Polyolefins make up over 60% of all 150 mln tons of polymers produced in the world.

Polypropylene

Polypropylene sheet is obtained by extrusion of polypropylene. It shows practically no hygroscopic properties, has perfect chemical resistance to most aggressive environments. It is used in concentrated and weak organic and inorganic acids. Ideal non-conductor.

 

Extruded polypropylene sheet is of natural colour or painted (any colour or shade) and transparent. Extruded sheet is chemically more resistant and environmentally friendly compared to traditional polystyrene and PVC (polyvinylchloride) used in packing and wrapping. The increased fat resistance allows it to gain its popularity with manufacturers of oil/butter, margarine, mayonnaise and other fat products as well as the manufacturers of packaging for textile and light industries, disposable tablewear. There is the possibility of embossing applying (“diagonal”, “sand”, “leather/skin”) and cutting of work material into sheets up to 1000 mm long. Maximal width of the sheet is up to 1600 mm. Length is unlimited. Thickness is from 1 to 10 mm.

 

Polypropylene. High temperature of melting, chemical and water resistance. Used in construction and for water- and windproofing. Polypropylene is sensitive to oxygen and oxydants. Processed by extrusion through a plane-slotted head. It has good gloss, high chemical resistance especially to oils and fat, doesn’t crack under environmental activity. Depending on thermal conditions may possess both elastic and plastic properties. Corresponding mechanical characteristics of polypropylene allows for the same mass provided to create constructions stronger than steel. Ultimate strength of polypropylene products under statistical load is 3-4 times higher compared to high-pressure polyethylene products. Copolymers of propylene with ethylene or others noticeably increase its cold resistance and impact strength while reducing the possibility of crack formation.

APPLICATION AREA

The application of this product is diverse. Sheets may be used for manufacturing of ventilation in chemical production, swimming pools, cupels/fonts, drums, air ducts, filtration units, pumps, galvanic lines; as electroinsulated and facing material in different branches of industry. It may be galvanic production of baths, for example. Besides polypropylene sheets are used for commercial production: stools, boxes for seedlings, etc. as well as for items which are in contact with foodstuff: boards (e.g. for meat, fish, fruit), water containers. They are also used in the engineering industry (elements of the abrasion-prone constructions, for example, propelling rollers, tooth gears, guide chains, bearing sleeves, propelling chains), chemical industry (vane pumps, taps, valves, silos facing), mining engineering and coalmining(lining of transport channels, drops, cars and bunkers).
